Crossing into the Void Blue Dreams dripping down my face Rain is beating just like noise the gentle roar of Nature's grace I am not the lumber to be moved by this flood it's flowing down the groove I am only made of Mud and yet, can't seem to get wet I just get used, I just get used this gentle Hand would lift me pulling myself up so swiftly grabbing at the branches reaching Upward, out of trenches keeping Time with the waves that are just beating at my spine At the tree trunks, Bark is splitting Water moves the massive pines I'm sitting high above the scene Up in the forest canopy And though I'm anchored hard and fast These limber logs must move at last, I know they will.
